Lot-et-Garonne boasts 8,000 hectares of vineyards, with three AOC (Controlled Term of Origin) certifications: Buzet, Côtes du Marmandais and Côtes de Duras. Several other wines are also cultivated in the area, such as Brulhois, Thézac Perricard and Pays d’Agenais, not forgetting Armagnac and Floc de Gascogne.
The region’s winegrowers have always welcomed tourists onto their estates and many of them promote the “Destination Vignoble” movement, with the aim of encouraging tourists to visit the region’s vineyards and take away some wonderful souvenirs of our local produce.
