Navigable for 72 km, the Lot has some wonderful places to moor in the heart of the countryside, just a few steps away from the fortified towns and characteristic villages of the region, such as Penne d’Agenais, Villeneuve-sur-Lot, Pujols, Casseneuil, Castelmoron, Clairac and Le Temple-sur-Lot. Food-lovers can fill up on delicious local produce at riverside farms or pay a visit to the open-air Prune museum, the Tuileries farm, the Lou Gaillot area, the Ferme Gourmande, or the Lacay farm for a stroll in the shade of the orchards, a demonstration of how to make a tortière pork pie, a picnic amongst the vines or a delicious Gascon brunch.
